Happy New Year Everyone!
While thinking about what kind of new year’s resolutions to make for myself personally, it occurred to me: why not make a resolution for our local Little Free Library?
So in the spirit of giving for the holiday season, I resolve to put at least one book a day into Little Free Library #8424 for every day of the month of January. I hope this adds some new variety to what the neighborhood is reading.
After this, perhaps I’ll do a little bit of work on the Library’s wishlist.
I will send you a copy of my second book to put in the Little Free Library!
The first one has been in and out several times. It just came back earlier this week, so I’m sure many will enjoy the second in the series.
AWESOME! See if you can nudge them into leaving a review online! 😉
Samantha, I recently bought both your books for Kindle for me and my daughters to read. They are up next to read. I will make sure we review them. Maybe I bought them after seeing Chris Aldrich mention them?
Maureen, that’s great! He has mentioned them for me! Enjoy!
Maureen Gale Mrenna meet Samantha Marks de Alcala and vice versa. Maureen may have been the first person (?!) I ever knew who when to Hopkins, Sam was a classmate there.
Chris, thanks for the introduction! Maureen, when did you attend?
Hi Samantha, I was a 1990 grad, Writing Seminars.
Awesome! In hindsight I wish I’d gone the writing seminars route but I was first an English major in A&S, plus in the dual degree program with Peabody Conservatory and earned three Bachelor degrees by 1997. I think it’s because I hadn’t zeroed in on what I wanted to do. It still took me two more degrees in Psychology to figure it out, LOL!
We have one down the street on national and I have been adding to the stash a lot. And I got rewarded with a really interesting book on some guy who caddied for a bunch of celebrities on the down low and did not mince words! I never would have known it even existed. And now I’ve bought copies to give away. Thanks for the inspiration!
